On this adventure, you'll experience the thrill of Eco Tallship Sailing in the Whitsundays along with some leisurely snorkelling and a spot of bush walking on one of the tropical Whitsunday Islands.

Alexander Stewart

The classic charm, rich timber fit out and huge open decks make this tall ship perfect for island exploration. The Alexander Stewart was hand built over 17 years by three generations of the one family and is said to be the largest cold-moulded timber hull in the southern hemisphere.  Couple this with a relaxed cruising style and 'The Stewart' is perfect for couples!

Optional activities: Snorkelling; Guided bush walks; Aboriginal culture, ecology and astronomy - this product is Advanced Eco-certified.
What to bring: You are permitted to bring a small day pack onboard. Backpacks and belongings can be stored at the Whitsunday Sailing Adventures' office for a fee of $5pp for the duration of your sail.
Departure details: Abel Pt Marina on Mondays and Fridays at 8.30am
Check In: The day prior. A map and details will be provided on check in.

Extra stuff: Book ahead to avoid disappointment. At the time of booking make sure you provide details of your Airlie Beach backpacker accommodation as well as your mobile phone number (international numbers are accepted). Make sure you reconfirm your booking before arrival.
