Magnificent marine creatures including the Loggerhead Turtles, which are often seem around the Whitsunday Islands - and are one of the most endangered species - share the temperate waters with 1500 species of fish including the colourful clown fish, enormous Maori Wrasse, Groupers and Surgeonfish; 5000-8000 species of molluscs; 400-500 species of algae and 360 species of coral... it all adds up to a great day out on the water, or under it, if the mood takes you.

Powerplay
'Powerplay' is a modern catamaran with all the comforts of home. Enjoy quality time in the great outdoors and relax back aboard with three flat screen DVD players, a huge 6ft x 3ft home theatre screen, large heated spa on the foredeck and plenty of deck to lounge around on.

Optional activities: Scuba diving; snorkelling; qualified dive instructors; dive gear is included; professional dive photos.
What to bring: You are permitted to bring a small day pack onboard. Backpacks and belongings can be stored at the Whitsunday Sailing Adventures' office for a fee of $5pp for the duration of your sail.
Departure details: Abel Pt Marina on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays at 12noon.
Check In: For morning departures you will be required to check in the day prior. A map and details will be provided on check in.
Extra stuff: Book ahead to avoid disappointment. At the time of booking make sure you provide details of your Airlie Beach backpacker accommodation as well as your mobile phone number (international numbers are accepted). Make sure you reconfirm your booking before arrival.
BOATS WITH WINGS...
Wings' stability offers comfort on the ocean and is a welcome haven for those that suffer the effects of seasickness. The 8ft ×4ft home theatre system and surround sound system does justice to the DVDs and TVs in the private double cabin. The friendly and experienced crew will keep you entertained onboard and below the waters.
Adventurer
The 'Adventurer' is a fast sailing catamaran that was custom designed for the ultimate Whitsundays Adventure. Dive the spectacular coral reef and after sunset relax in the Jacuzzi and observe the sea life attracted by high-tech, below-surface sea lights.
