ISLANDS AND OUTER REEF PACKAGES that are out of this world

So you've arrived in Australia... but no trip on the East Coast is truly complete without immersing yourself in the majestic Great Barrier Reef - a veritable underwater paradise... just waiting to be discovered.

Beyond the islands, fringed with corals, lies the outer Great Barrier Reef - which provides some of the most incredible snorkelling and diving you will ever experience in Australia.

Equally thrilling is our four-wheel-driving adventure - where you, and your mates, taking to the sand tracks on World Heritage-list Fraser Island - this gorgeous island is called Paradise by the Butchulla tribe and is a place where water, sand, and forest fuse.

This package enables you to take some time to enjoy the best of both worlds - the Great Barrier Reef and the world's largest sand island, Fraser Island. Four dorm nights’ accommodation is included to make this a perfect Australian east coast experience. Choose from an 8 or 9 night package.

Sail and dive the Whitsunday Islands and Outer Great Barrier Reef on a ketch called 'Kiana'. The decks below are fitted out for maximum comfort for 14 passengers. Enjoy the comfort of air conditioning, large roomy saloon areas and comfortable cabins. There is plenty of room to just enjoy yourself and for those that want to dive, snorkel or just relax in the sun.

Size of boat: 16.4m Ketch
Capacity: 14 passengers; 3 crew
Facilities: Advanced Eco-certification; Private cabins; Air-conditioning; Roomy Saloon
Meals: Included (the food is great!)
BYO or Bar: Licensed Bar - there's no BYO

Optional activities: Scuba diving; Onboard high capacity compressor - which means you don't have limited dives; Hostess; Snorkelling; Onboard dive instructor.
What to bring: You are permitted to bring a small day pack onboard. Backpacks and belongings can be stored at the Whitsunday Sailing Adventures' office for a fee of $5pp for the duration of your sail.
Departure details: Abel Pt Marina on Mondays and Fridays at 8am.
Check In: For morning departures you will be required to check in the day prior. A map and details will be provided on check in.

Extra stuff: Book ahead to avoid disappointment. At the time of booking make sure you provide details of your Airlie Beach backpacker accommodation as well as your mobile phone number (international numbers are accepted). Make sure you reconfirm your booking before arrival.

Emperors Wings

'Emperors Wings' is a fast, stable new dive cat which heads out to visit the famous Whitehaven Beach, followed by two full days of diving the outer Great Barrier Reef and Whitsunday Islands. The very experienced dive crew will share their knowledge and PADI specialty courses are available for certified divers. End the perfect day's diving in our heated jacuzzi under the southern stars.
